The Weirdest ‘Bachelor’ and ‘Bachelorette’ Job Titles Ever!

With each new season of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, the contestants’ career choices (if you can even call them that) seem to get more ridiculous. From “twins” Emily and Haley Ferguson to “hipster” Brandon Howell, here are the strangest job titles featured on the ABC dating competition.

Heather Martin: Never Been Kissed

Will Colton Underwood be her first? This Bachelor contestant is one of the former football player’s hopefuls.

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Erin Landry: Cinderella

Landry will compete for Colton Underwood’s heart on The Bachelor season 23.

Alex D: Sloth

Don’t ask Us what the deal is with Colton Underwood’s future contestant!

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Ryan Peterson: Banjoist

This musically savvy contestant vied for Becca Kufrin’s affections.

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Kamil Nicalek: Social Media Participant

Although the self-proclaimed social media enthusiast didn’t make it very far on Becca Kufrin’s 14th season, he briefly found love with Annaliese Puccini on Bachelor in Paradise season 5.

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Jonathan Treece: Tickle Monster

Creepy much? After Rachel Lindsay gave him the boot, Treece tried his hand at love again on Bachelor in Paradise season 4.

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Lucas Yancey: Whaboom

Rachel Lindsay found this season 13 contestant to be amusing, but she ultimately sent him packing.

ABC/Craig Sjodin

Tiara Soleim: Chicken Enthusiast

Tiara Soleim, who vied for Ben Higgins’ heart during The Bachelor season 20, was shown playing with all her pet chickens in her introductory video, and she even brushed her teeth while her favorite bird, Sheila, sat on her shoulder.

James Spadafore: Bachelor Superfan

Um … same, James! The Bachelorette season 12 contestant revealed he regularly participates in Bachelor brackets just like Us … but how does he get paid for that?

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Evan Bass: Erectile Dysfunction Specialist

If Evan Bass had just simplified his job title to health professional, he might have avoided the “penis doctor” nickname during The Bachelorette season 12.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Erica Rose: Socialite

She lived up to her socialite job title by packing a tiara and asking where the maids were on The Bachelor season 9 with Prince Lorenzo Borghese, but now she’s director of business development for an L.A.-based law firm.

Peyton Wright: Sorority Recruiter

Peyton Wright wanted a bid to Bachelor Andy Baldwin’s heart, but she was eliminated in the third week of season 10.

Kevin FoleyABC

Paige Vigil: Jumbotron Operator

Since The Bachelor is basically a longer version of the Kiss Cam, Paige Vigil should have been well prepared to compete on season 17.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Raichel Goodyear: Manscaper

Season 15 contestant Raichel Goodyear showed viewers exactly what her job entails by waxing Bachelor Brad Womack’s arm on the first night.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Kelly Travis: Dog Lover

This sounds like a dream job! Kelly Travis brought along her pup Molly to meet Bachelor Juan Pablo Galavis in season 18.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Tara Eddings: Sport Fishing Enthusiast

She was quite the catch, but Bachelor Chris Soules eliminated her in week 2 of season 19.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Lucy Aragon: Free Spirit

Props to The Bachelor season 18’s Lucy Aragon. This is pretty much the coolest way to say “unemployed.”

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Shawn Evans: Amateur Sex Coach

This sounds like a creepy way to say “unemployed” and may be why he got the boot pretty early on in Kaitlyn Bristowe’s season 11 of The Bachelorette

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Emily and Haley Ferguson: Twins

While Emily and Haley Ferguson totally make twinning feel like a full-time job, the Bachelor season 20 gals are actually lifestyle bloggers and cocktail waitresses at Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub in Las Vegas.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Alessandro Goulart: Grain Merchant

Bachelorette season 8 suitor Alessandro Goulart’s career path sounds like it’s straight out of the 1800s.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Reegan Cornwell: Donated Tissue Specialist

Reegan Cornwell exited the limo with a cooler containing something gross that looked like a human heart before revealing to Chris Soules that she sells tissue — as in not the Kleenex kind.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Mark Huebner: Pizza Entrepreneur

Reinventing pizza? While this sounded like a far-fetched career choice, Mark Huebner opened up a restaurant, Denver Pizza Company, shortly after his Bachelorette season 5 departure.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Sean Ramey: Martial Arts Master

He may have earned a black belt, but he didn’t get the final rose from season 4 Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Daniel Maguire: Canadian

The quirky Bachelorette season 12 contestant, who competed for JoJo Fletcher’s final rose, used his nationality as a job title. Since, according to his Instagram bio, he’s — not surprisingly — a personal trainer.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Alejandro Velez: Mushroom Farmer

This job seems sketchy, but Bachelorette season 8 contestant Alejandro Velez has a seriously profitable business called Back to the Roots.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Brittany Fetkin: WWE Diva-in-Training

As completely ridiculous as it sounds, The Bachelor season 19’s Brittany Fetkin was actually a very legitimate wrestler signed with WWE and could probably take down everyone in the Bachelor mansion.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

JJ O’Brien: Pantsapreneur

JJ O’Brien’s hilariously made-up title was code for “I started my own clothing line.” The season 10 suitor gave Bachelorette Andi Dorfman a pair of paisley-print pants from his collection on their first one-on-one date.

Craig Sjodin/ABC

Brandon Howell: Hipster

“Hipster” was used as Brandon Howell’s fake job title during The Bachelorette season 12 since he’s really an aspiring actor.
