Kailyn Lowry’s Drama With Chris Lopez Comes to a Head on ‘Teen Mom 2’

Afraid of commitment. Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez have been spending more time together lately trying to rebuild their relationship, but they hit a bump in the road on the Monday, March 18, Teen Mom 2 episode. And after Chris accidentally sent her a text that was meant for his ex, could the entire thing be called off for good?

The lines were blurred even further when Chris still showed up to Lincoln’s birthday party to give him a gift and see Lux but didn’t seem to want much to do with Kail while he was there. Fortunately, they avoided each other without any fireworks, and the party went off without a hitch.

But later, Chris texted Kailyn to say he loved her out of nowhere, bringing her back to square one. She admitted to producer Patrick that she was getting tired of the back and forth, and eventually, she’s going to have to draw the line, especially since Chris has told her that his next step is getting his own place, not moving in with her and coparenting Lux from the same house.

“Within the next year, if we’re still doing this, I’m not gonna do it anymore,” Kail said. “I’m getting to the point where, eventually, I want to be with someone and raise my kids with someone and have a life together and do all that because I do get so emotional and lonely. I don’t want to love because I’m lonely, but I see all my mom friends are married, and here I am. Why can’t he commit to me?”

Meeting Andrew

Barbara Evans flew to New York to meet Jenelle Evans’ ex Andrew Lewis to decide if he was ready to meet Jace for the first time since he was a baby. She and Jenelle both had their doubts about Andrew, but maybe he’s changed?

The morning finally came for Barbara to meet Andrew for breakfast, but she ended up waiting for a long time only for him to never show up and ignore her calls. For her, that was enough. However, he later called her back and explained that he was in Florida visiting his father who was suffering from stage three cancer and had a limited time to live.

Andrew’s mother even got on the phone and told her that Andrew’s not the same person she used to know; that still wasn’t enough to convince her to meet up with Jace, though, although she wouldn’t mind taking him to meet his other grandmother.

Nova’s New Name

Briana DeJesus and her family headed to Puerto Rico – Briana’s ex and Nova’s dad, Devoin, included. Nova was pumped to have the chance to go on vacation with both of her parents at the same time, and she had a surprise in store: Briana wanted to ask her if she wanted to change her last name to Devoin’s to honor her father.

After having a blast on the beach and jet skiing on the ocean, they taught Nova a little bit about her heritage since she is half Puerto Rican. She seemed like she was in her glory getting to spend so much quality time with her dad, and there was absolutely zero drama with Devoin and Briana and her family.

At the end of the trip, Devoin and Briana asked Nova if she wanted to change her last name to Austin — or add it to the last name she already has — but she was undecided. They gave her the chance to think about it, but she was way more interested in blowing bubbles in her drink. Typical kid on vacation?

Chelsea vs Adam … Again

Chelsea Houska’s drama with Adam Lind continued, and when Aubree was over at her grandparents’ house, he showed up — even though he was only supposed to see her during supervised visitations. That meant that Cole DeBoer had to go pick her up unexpectedly while Chelsea stayed home with Layne and Watson.

When Cole got home, he said he tried to keep the whole situation as drama-free as possible for Aubree. At first, Adam’s mom said she didn’t know why Aubree had to leave, and then she asked where Aubree would be later so she could pick her up when Adam left. Cole wasn’t into that, which caused an argument and Aubree got involved.

This situation only made Chelsea and Cole feel like the time was right for Adam to give up his parental rights so that Cole could formally adopt Aubree, but they were still worried about whether or not Aubree was ready to take that step. Will this be the last straw for Adam?
